You are invited to submit artworks for a community exhibition in one of the iconic arches on Brighton seafront.
The exhibition, now in it's second year, will shine a BRIGHT light ON local artists at all stages of their artistic journeys, with artworks capturing and celebrating Brighton and the local area. Landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, portraits of local people, abstract expressions of the feel of the city are all welcome.
Open to artists of any age or experience level - artists who have never exhibited before are particularly encouraged to submit their work. The show is about making the process of exhibiting as accessible as possible.
If you took part in the BRIGHT ON exhibition in 2025, I would love to have you involved again - while you're welcome to submit the same pieces as last year, priority will be given to new / different pieces in order to keep the exhibition fresh for visitors who may be returning.
This will predominantly be a show of two-dimensional artworks, so please ensure your work is ready to hang. If you have any questions about suitability, please get in touch before submitting.
As many pieces as possible will be selected. The selection process is purely to ensure sufficient space in the gallery for each piece.
